MARBLE MOUNTAINS - MONKEY MOUNTAINS
Marble mountains are one of Da Nang’s top attractions, also known as Ngu Hanh Son. The five outcrops that make up central Vietnam’s Marble Mountains. Each are named after a different element FIRE, WOOD, METAL, WATER and EARTH. There are beautiful caves, especially Am Phu cave, pagodas, temples and many local factories of stone sculptures – the most impressive handicrafts village in Da Nang.
Monkey mountains are a mountain and peninsula range located on Son Tra Peninsula, overlooking the Bay of Da Nang and the East Sea. It was the American soldiers that gave this mountain the name, Monkey, when they were there during the Vietnam War.
Option 1: TOUR IN THE MORNING
Duration: 6 HOURS (8am – 2pm)
Description:
- Visiting Marble Mountains which are made of limestone and marble. Several Buddhist sanctuaries can also be found within the mountains.
- Having Vietnamese lunch with local family.
- Visiting Am Phu cave, we will learn many interesting philosophies of Buddhism. The scenes of horror mentioned-above intend to educate human beings about doing good deeds in life.
- Enjoying panorama view of Da Nang from high position at Monkey mountains.
- Visiting Linh Ung pagoda, one of the biggest pagoda in Da Nang city and the highest lady Budda statue in Vietnam.

Option 2: TOUR IN THE AFTERNOON
Duration: 5 HOURS (1m – 6pm)
Description:
- Discovering Marble Mountains and stop for a walk along the site to see local factories of stone sculptures
- Climbing up to the top of the mountain (elevator is optional). Visiting Huyen Khong or Tang Chon caves and Am Phu cave, the biggest fascinating cave to learn interesting philosophies of Buddhism.
- Transferring to Monkey mountains and enjoying panorama view of Da Nang
- Visiting a giant Lady Buddha in Linh Ung pagoda, one of the biggest pagoda in Da Nang city and the highest lady Budda statue in Vietnam.
