Cam Thanh Coconut Village
Cam Thanh is a little charming village at the adge of Hoi An, which is covered by nipa palm trees. During the Vietnamese wars, this was the shelters for soldiers and local people. Nowadays, the village is not only famous for providing seafood, but also a favorite spot for tourists.
Option 1: BAMBOO BASKET BOAT TOUR
Duration: 2-3 HOURS (DEPARTURE TIME ON YOUR REQUEST)
Description:
- Transferring to Cam Thanh village to take a bamboo basket boat along the Cam Thanh water coconut forest.
- Enjoying hands-on experience of round net and cast net fishing done by local fishermen.
- Learning how to paddle the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat and seeing basket boat performance
- Catching the crabs, dropping the net.
- Having small meal (Hoi An spring rolls and Rice pancake) at fisherman’s house

Duration: 5 HOURS (8m – 1pm OR 1pm – 6pm)

- Going to a market with a chef by car.
- Having chance to see and experience the noise as well as directly contact to sellers to introduce the ingredients for using in cooking lesson.
- Taking a car to Cam Thanh Village and having a bamboo basket boat ride along water coconut forest.
- Joining cooking class. The chef will teach you how to cook Vietnamese food and share valuable information in Vietnamese cultural cuisine
